Our People

Pillar has 4 project workers, one of which is an outreach worker, who are all qualified in social work or nursing. The worker's role is to ensure the smooth running of drop-in and groups offering support and information as appropriate. Workers can introduce people to each other and try to bring people together for mutual support and friendship. We also have a group of relief workers who step in when there are staff holidays. The Manager has overall management responsibility for Pillar Aberdeen, including funding, staffing, and disciplinary matters, including service delivery.  The manager is also involved in strategic city-wide planning in relation to mental health.

The team is supported by a Financial administrator, Company Secretary and a General Administrator.
